Salt Springs Island - Visiting Margaret and Jeremy                    HOME

We cruised from Port Angeles to Saltsprings Island, which is just north of Victoria on Vancouver Island.  Eric's youngest daughter, Margaret, lives here with her boyfriend, Jeremy.  They are expecting a baby in late June and it was fun to get caught in the excitement of planning for a new little one.  Margaret's pregnancy is going very well and she looks healthy and happy.  They have wonderful neighbors who had us all to dinner one evening where we enjoyed laughs, great Indian food and entertaining conversation.  We hope to return in late May and then again in the Fall.

Margaret, Jeremy and their friend, Claire, joined us to a short trip to Montague Harbor on Galiano Island.  Margaret's mom had gotten them a new crab trap so we tried it out for the first time.  After two hours, we had caught two edible rock crabs.  It made for a tasty appetizer!
